A's 7, Astros 6
Astros went quickly out to a 5-0 advantage until JClark remembered how to pitch and closed them out after the second inning. The A's didn't score until the 3rd when JClark led off with a single and with Stevie running for him and Matt Mayoya getting an RBI-1B the A's were on the board. Jay got aboard on an error to lead off the 4th and ended up scoring without the A's getting a hit. Score Astro's 5-2. The 7th was the breakthrough inning and Mike started it all off with a leadoff 1B. Jay followed with a FC, Bryan BB, Jim SAC fly scored Jay, John's RBI-1B scored Bryan, and the big one--Chris' 2-RBI 2B smash to left center scored John and Chris scored on a PB. That made it a 4-run inning. In the A's last at-bat JClark lead off with a 1B and with Stevie stealing bases, Kingsley hit into a FC, Flo walked, Kyle walked, and then Warren walked scoring Kingsley a earning the game-winning RBI. A's win. JClark pitched 9 innings, giving up 4 earned runs, on 7 hits, 4 BB's and 3 K's. Nice come-from-behind victory for the A's!
