Cubs 18, at A's 5
George Prichard took the mound for the Cubs in the afternoon game and pitched a strong five innings to get the win. Prichard gave up two earned runs, allowing only two hits while walking three and striking out one. Mike Cazares pitched the final two innings of the seven inning game, giving up no earned runs.
But the real story in the afternoon game was Eli Kollman who had a monster day going 3 for 4 with two home-runs, a double, a walk, three runs scored and six RBI. Kollmans jacks came in the first and second inning and helped to get the Cubs into cruise control. Lex Robins also had a ridiculous day at the plate going 3 for 3 with two doubles, a home-run, two walks, three RBI, and four runs scored. Mike Cazares also did some damage going 2 for 2 with two doubles, an HBP, an RBI, and two runs scored.
