Giants 11, Mudhens 7
The Giants won their third game in their last four, and they had to come from behind three times to do it. The Mudhens put 3 runs on the board in the 1st for the second straight game only to see the Giants counter with 4 singles from the first four hitters in their order and plate 2 runs of their own. The Mudhens built a 7-4 lead going into the bottom of the 7th and retired the first two Giants hitters in that frame. Ian Nelson responded with an opposite field homerun cutting the score to 7-5. The next 9 Giants hitters then reached base, 6 of them scored. Tim Vogel had a 2-run basehit which gave the Giants the lead they would not relinquish. Nelson and Xander Lowry both had 3 hits in the game as did Matt White, who also tripled.
The star of the game for Giants was Stew Walker who also had three hits, scored twice, stole two bases and drove in two. Walker also went the distance to earn his second win. Walker scattered 12 hits on the day, only one of them came in the 6th inning or later.
