A's 11, Giants 10
There's something interesting about every game. In this one the A's and Giants played to a tie through 9 innings and had to barter a deal with the umpires to finish the first game by giving up innings in the 2nd game. After the deal was done, the Ginats scored one in the top of the 10th and the a's came back to win in the bottom of the 10th with Jay gettting a BB, Flo another big hit with a 2B, plating Jay. Warren followed with a BB and Bryan hit the game-winning 2B to end it!
The Giants were spotted to a 5-0 advantage with the a's making 3 costly errors in the first two innings. in the bottom of the 2nd, Jay started it with a BB. Flo and warren hit singles, Bryan reached on an error, jim knocked in a run with a SAC-8. Giants 5-3. The Giants scored another run on another error in the 3rd after which J. Clark recorded 10 straight outs. Meanwhile, in the 5th, Mike (who had a great game 2-2 with a BB, 3 runs and 3 SB's), began with a BB and quickly stole 2nd. Stevie hit a single to left, scoring Mike and then Stevie promtly stole 2nd. Kingsley walked folowed by Matt Mayoya's RBI-single. A's 8-6. The three errors in the 7th gave the giants 3 more runs. Giants 9-8. The A's tied the game in the 8th on a JClark BB, Mike's 1B and Stevie's BB with the help of a couple of wild pitches. After a scoreless 9th and an interesting deal, the Giants scored an EARNED run in the 10th on a couple of singles and a SAC. In the bottom of the 10th, the A's got a BB and a SB by Jay, an RBI-B2B by Flo, a BB by Warren and a game-winning 2B by Bryan. A great game. JClark went all 10 innings and strated the 2nd game, going the first 3 innings before being overcome by the heat (98 degrees).
